About the course
WSQ Certified Service Professional (CSP) Programme allows learners to embark on a ‘journey’ towards being a service professional. They are taken through key development checkpoints addressing the mindset, heartset and skillset needed. Upon completion of the Programme, learners ‘graduate’ to begin a lifelong journey to being a ‘Service Professional’ – a career where they can find significance and fulfilment in.

Note: Participants who have fulfilled at least 75% attendance and met all course requirements will be awarded with a WSQ Statement of Attainment Certified Service Professional. Learners can also leverage on the CSP Composite SOA to attain the WSQ Qualification in Certificate in Service Excellence by completing the additional modules required.

The Singapore Chinese Chamber Institute of Business (SCCIOB) is an ISO 9001:2008 certified non-profit training and education body registered under the Registry of Societies (UEN S92SS0008J) and a subsidiary of the Singapore Chinese Chamber of Commerce & Industry (SCCCI). The Institute’s history as a training and education provider can be traced back to 1984 when it first started as a Training Centre with governmental aid. It upgraded to its current status, the Institute of Business, in 1996.
SCCIOB is part of the SCCCI’s Commerce & Industry Development Group comprising the Commerce & Industry Development Department in SCCCI’s Secretariat, SME Infocomm Resource Centre ([email protected]) and the SCCIOB. The institute is also distinguished to beREAD MORE
amongst the first private education institutions to be successfully registered with the Council for Private Education for 4 years (i.e. from 20 May 2014 to 19 May 2018) under the Enhanced Registration Framework.
The Institute caters to the learning and development needs of a wide variety of trainees and students, including industry/company leaders, senior managers and working professionals, both local and international. The programmes offered can be broadly classified under business studies, language & culture studies, skills training and customised programmes. Being a wholly owned subsidiary of SCCCI, most of our programmes are run in Mandarin, to cater to the needs of SMEs and the Chinese business community.
Each year, over 3,000 students are enrolled into our training programmes. To ensure that our students have a conducive learning environment, we have a total of 9 training & computer rooms (of which the seating capacity ranges from 19 to 73 per class) in our Hill Street campus, which can accommodate at least 300 students at any one time. It is our commitment to provide high quality training programmes to optimise the learning outcome of our students. Our lecturers are selected from among prominent academics, industry leaders and professional practitioners. Apart from full-time trainers, we have a total of more than 300 adjunct trainers.
With the experience gathered over the past 30 years, we have put in place sound internal processes that ensure smooth business operations so as to create the best possible learning environment for our students. To make continuous improvements in our training systems and delivery, we believe in hearing from our students.
